Welcome to Czech-Slovak Philately

The society of Czech-Slovak Philately of the Netherlands was founded on January 13, 1991 and carries the name "Vereniging voor Tsjechoslowakije-Filatelie".

The society's objective is to promote the collection of postal issues, documents, booklets and sheets of the Czech Republic and Slovakia, including forerunners and items from related territories. She organizes meetings, lectures and auctions.

The society has international contacts with sister societies in: Czech Republic, Slovakia, United Kingdom, United States and Germany.

The society offers help for starting collectors of Czech and Slovak postal matters, such as:

  • postage stamp
  • air post stamp
  • newspaper stamp
  • printed matter stamp
  • tax stamp
  • legion post stamp
  • scout issue stamp
  • special delivery stamp

and offers access to an extensive library.


On Saturday March 26, 2011, the Zilveren Bondsspeld (Silver Society Pin) was awarded to Jan Verleg thanking him for devoting his knowledge and experience to our society of Czech-Slovak Philately in the Netherlands.
